Enrolment Process

We encourage all prospective parent(s) to get to know us by looking over our website, visiting our school and speaking with our staff.

Tours can be organised any time throughout the year at your convenience.

Once you have decided to enrol your child/ren, we request an Application for Enrolment form be submitted and a $150 (non-refundable) enrolment fee paid.

Upon receipt of your Application for Enrolment you and your child/ren will be contacted by our school to organise an interview. During this meeting an academic assessment will be conducted so that an individual program can be planned. This interview will also help identify any strategies which need to be put in place either by the family or the school to accommodate your child.

Acceptance of your application is dependent upon the availability of places and approval of your application by the School Board. You will then be notified in writing and a detailed Student Enrolment Form will be sent to you, which provides the school with all contact details, emergency contacts, medical information etc.

Once enrolled at Yarralinda School, you will be provided with a copy of our Parent Handbook and details of your child’s orientation visit.

Continuing enrolment is subject to student and parent(s) willingness to participate in the application of the school rules, ethos and payment of school fees.

Transferring From Another School

As above we encourage prospective parent(s) and child/children to visit the school and our website. This is followed by a trial period of 1-5 days for which fees are not charged, during which an academic assessment will be conducted. Parent(s) then attend an interview with the Principal before being formally accepted into the school.

Parent(s) then proceed with enrolment, following the above process which will include payment of the enrolment and school fees.
